King of the road es una inspirada canción escrita y grabada originalmente por el cantante de country Roger Miller. Editada en 1964, ha sido interpretada por numerosos cantantes desde entonces. Aunque surge en un contexto geográfico y social diferente, expresa valores y sentimientos esencialmente comunes al espíritu peregrino.
